Fullerton Hotel, Sydney 150th Anniversary – Pitch
Working with Activation Union, I created several concepts for the 150th anniversary of the GPO building in Sydney – now the Fullerton Hotel. Originally built to be the headquarters of Australia Post, the building connected a growing population across the continent and connected Australia to the rest of the world using new electric telegraph technology, connecting millions and millions across not only great distances but also across history.
This particular concept taps into the idea and importance of human connection – the actual reason the GPO building was built 150 years ago and what it is still all about today – connection by bringing people together.
The pitch was successful.
